Course Information:

Introduction to this course

This is a full time course for learners who are not sure of their next step in education or who need to improve their confidence, maths and English grades before moving across college onto their chosen vocational areas.

Students will have the opportunity to investigate different career paths and experience tasters in a range of chosen vocational areas such as construction, motor vehicle, art and catering.

All learners will work towards their next level of achievement at English and maths from Entry 3 functional skills to GCSEs

Students will also work through a range of units that will prepare them for further training, education and employment.

There are no set entry requirements but a keen interest in self-development and a dedicated approach to work are important

How will I be assessed?

You will work through a range of appropriate units which you will study a unit at a time – you work on these with support and guidance with achievement tracked and fed back to you as you go.
