Not sure which route to choose? Didn’t get the results you wanted? Don’t have the qualifications to join the study programme of your choice? Got Ds or below at GCSE? Need to brush up your skills before employment or an Apprenticeship? If so, we can help.

The Progression Pathways Programme aims to help you improve your skills ready to take the next step - whether that is studying a Level 1 or 2 study programme at college or getting a job. The one year programme focuses on improving your Maths and English, your personal/social skills and your work skills. You will also have the opportunity to participate in your choice of vocational options, we work with other Curriculum areas to organise tasters on a range of Study programmes. The delivery is made up of both practical and theory sessions, designed to best meet individual needs.

Entry Requirements

You do not need any qualifications to join this study programme. Give us a call and we will review your current skills and what you want to achieve, then advise you on which qualification is best for you.

Duration of this course

You will work at your own pace, in an adult environment and be at college for up to three days a week. This means you may be able to fit part-time work around your studies too. Most students enrol in September, but there are additional opportunities to join during the year. Call our Student and Customer Services Team on 01935 423921 for more information.

Career prospects

Upon successfully completion, you will gain a nationally recognised qualification. Learners who achieve Entry Level or above can apply for a Level 1 or Level 2 study programme. Yeovil College offers a wide range of study programmes and staff can talk to you about what you would like to do next.
