Introduction to this course

Are you a college leaver hoping to start a career in Accountancy or someone who wants to re-train in Accountancy? Do you already have practical accounting experience but no formal qualifications? Then this course may be suitable for you. The AAT Certificate (Level 2) is a professional course for students who wish to obtain an accounting qualification. It includes five modules covering topics such as bookkeeping transactions, basic costings and computerised accounting. It is sponsored by three main accountancy bodies and is a nationally recognised qualification.

Career prospects

This course is suitable for school leavers who wish to pursue a career in accountancy, people who are looking to retrain in accountancy or those who have practical accounting experience but no formal accountancy qualifications.
